I booked online an Eagle Falcon bus at https://www.redbus.in/travels/falcon-bus-lines-pvt-ltd.aspx , as a friend suggested it. I opted for a Volvo Ac Sleeper bus as the journey was for 10 hours and sleeper buses are comfortable. Since I was travelling alone, I has selected an upper berth sleeper seat that was facing the window. This helped me to travel in comfort and also enjoy my personal space. Most of the time I was reading a book and rest of the time listening to music while gazing out of the window.

Nobody shall expect anything less from this city blessed with geography and history and a key component of India’s industrial base. Many places that make Baroda worthy of visiting are Laxmi Villa Palace, Sursagar Lake, EME Temple, Baroda Museum and many more. I always wanted to visit all these locations and finally planned a weekend getaway to Baroda. I stayed at my friend’s place and made the most by touring the city.

I boarded the Eagle Falcon bus from Wakad at 11:00pm and reached golden Chowkadi NH8 highway the next day at 9am. The bus service was punctual and safe; skilled drivers drove it. The interiors of the bus was clean with the sleeper seat arrangements being neat and comfortable. Travelling by bus experience was pleasant and convenient. The bus transport gave rest stops too, I remember having a hot cup of coffee in the middle of the night and they provided water bottles too. The blankets were clean and cosy, I slept well in the bus.
