When I hit 39 (very low number!) during my 6 hour glucose tolerance test my doc said "Yep, diabacore you have SEVERE hypoglycemia!". You can't exercise your excess waistline fat away because the hormone that tells your fat cells to burn fat for energy, likewise cannot reach it's intended target. These patients already have diabetic complications or will have them very soon. If you are currently taking medications for your diabetes, keep a close check on your sugar levels and consult with your caregiver regarding adjustments to medications.
