Hi,

We've had our car for just over a year. Its a great car, but every door handle has failed in that time. The handle presents and won't release. This is due to a wire inside which breaks and prevents it from talking to the latch. The fourth one just quit working yesterday. So, are other people having this problem or did I just get a bad batch of wiring harnesses? The ranger told me that the handle will cost $900 after the warranty runs out and I'm at 43,000 miles already. I suspect that colder climates don't help as the two wires are thin and probably get brittle?

Please help.
