One of the biggest Formula Bets problems that handicappers face is confidence. There is a fine line between being confident and over confident. Walking that tightrope every day wears most handicappers down and eventually they make a mistake and then over compensate going from one extreme to the other. A mistake or bad judgment puts the horse player on tilt and he goes from having the courage to make a bet to not being able to make a wager.
