Since last Friday, I have been trying to install the QuickBooks Desktop on my new computer but couldn’t do the same. Instead, it started giving me QuickBooks Install Error 1402 on my computer screen. A little research indicates that I must update the QuickBooks application, but nothing helped. I called QB customer service, and they remoted into my computer and fixed the issue. But whenever I tried installing the QB, I got the same error repeatedly. Haven't been able to permanently fix it with instructions given by the experts. Any other suggestions?
