Claremont McKenna College (CMC) is a private, coeducational liberal arts college and a member of the Claremont Colleges located in Claremont, California. The 56-acre (0.23 km2) campus is located 35 miles (56 km) east of Downtown Los Angeles.[3] CMC was founded in 1946 as Claremont Men's College and emphasizes programs in government, economics, and international affairs.
